Kids Karate After School Classes Manhattan: From Igor Dyachenko’s early days
Kids Karate After School Classes Manhattan : From Igor Dyachenko’s early days (7 of 7) With his many wins and accomplishment, he continued asking deeper questions. He kept close contact with founders of the sport, studied eastern philosophy, particularly Japanese traditions, further carrying on his father’s discipline. This led him to answer questions rather than simply ask, and to discover yet another untapped talent– teaching. The more he learned, the more he needed to share. Karate was never just about competitions. It was about self-discovery.
After personally training individuals and seeing immediate results he knew the time was right. The more he taught. The more he grew. So in 2006 Igor founded Karate City. The dojo underwent a few transformations as Igor asked the questions, he and students provided answers. He could see that as humans, karate and physical fitness is always evolving. He respected and held on to the old traditions of karate, while bridging east and west philosophical techniques. His approach became simple. It was a passion. It was what each person can do. To teach. To learn. At any size, shape or age, Igor sees in you what he still sees in himself, a young child learning basic physical karate moves from a father willing to teach. That ignites a spark, and an introduction to a movement that can not only change you, but also change your contribution to the world.
Perhaps Karate City’s white floors represent a clean slate, and the red represents a passion. These two elements keep his endless journey alive and he believes it’s inside all of us. For every stressful job, winning fight, tiny apartment and city traveled, Igor’s father would be astonished and immensely proud. With a Russian, New York accent, a deep voice, which he rarely raises, Igor is no longer a diamond in the rough. One may even say he’s made it. But he believes there’s always a time to shed light on that ever- evolving spark. He’s dedicated and passionate about creating a lifestyle difference and making anyone shine even brighter.
